Braja Mandala Parikrama
If you are a firm believer of Hindu religion and you take a lot of interest in lord Krishna then you might be interested in knowing about Braja Mandal Parikrama. The name of this Parikrama might be heard by you many times because it is not a new term. Braja Mandal Parikrama starts from Mathura, where lord Krishna was born thousands of years ago. During this Parikrama, devotees go through 12 forests of Braja and visits different places which are related with Lord Krishna.
Vishram Ghat, which is a famous tourist spot in Mathura, is the starting point of this Parikrama. From here, the Parikrama starts in a clock wise direction and revolves around the Braja Mandala. From this point, the devotees head towards the southwest part of Mathura. After this, 7 important forests of Mathura which are located on west side of Mathura are completed. From here, the devotees head to Baldeo. After this, the Mahavan forest is the destination of the devotees. Next, devotees pass the Mahavan forest to come back towards the North. From here, devotees arrive back to Mathura. At Vishram Ghat, the Braja Mandala Parikrama ends finally when the devotees take a bath.
