Dwarika

If you believe in Hindu mythology or know about it then you might have some idea about the famous town of Dwarika. This town is known as the town of Lord Krishna. It is believed that this town was constructed by the great grandson of Lord Krishna and whose name was Vajranabhji. If we talk about the architecture of this temple then we should mention that this is a structure built in fifteenth/sixteenth century and its architectural style is Chalukya. Every year, numerous devotees visit Dwarika. It is also believed that people who visit Dwarika start getting the positive results of Ashwamedha Yajna once they start their journey for Dwarika.

Due to the efforts of Dwarkadheesh Devasthan Samiti, the condition of Dwarika has moved towards betterment. This Samiti is still doing efforts to improve the area inside and near Dwarika. Dwarika is a town which attracts numerous pilgrims, archaeologists, historians and people who love Indian art. There are various Ghats in the town of Dwarika. All these Ghats are built on the banks of Gomati River. Govind ghat, sangam ghat, Mira ghat, Gomati ghat, gao ghat and sati ghat are some of the famous ghats located in Dwarika.
