Hindu Gods

There are numerous gods and goddesses in Hindu religion. India is full of numerous temples which are associated with different gods. Some of the most popular Hindu gods are Ram, Krishna, Ganesha, Siva Sankar, Hanuman, Vishwakarma etc. If you have knowledge about all these gods then you can say that you know about many Hindu gods. Let’s start with Ram. Ram is popularly known as Purushottam Ram. It means that he is symbolic to the perfect man. Ram was the husband of Sita. Ram killed Ravana, who was the king of Lanka.

Hanuman is also a very famous Hindu god. It was Hanuman who helped Ram to win the battle against Ravana. Siva Snakar is known for his anger. He is also known by the name of Siva- the destroyer. It is said that if lord Siva dances in anger then the world may come to an end. His dance is known as Tandav Nritya. Ganesha is the son of lord Siva and Parvati.  Every Hindu prayer or good work is started by memorizing Ganesha. Krishna is an Avatar of Vishnu and he is known as the supreme enjoyer. Vishwakarma is the god who gives fame and progress to the people in their respective works.
