Lord Krishna Painting

Lord Krishna. When we hear this name then we start feeling spiritual and devoted to the supreme god Krishna, who is an Avatar of Vishnu according to the Hindu mythology. If you are associated with Hinduism in any way then you must have somewhere seen Lord Krishna painting. There are numerous paintings of Lord Krishna which portray him playing different roles. The most common painting of Lord Krishna shows him playing a flute while holding it from both his hands. Radha who was the beloved of Lord Krishna is also shown in many Lord Kirshna paintings. As Krishna mean dark blue, we see that Lord Krishna’s skin color is shown dark blue or black in all his paintings. Krishna literally means black.

Many of the idols of Krishna show his skin in black color. As Krishna was a cow herder as well, you might have seen him standing in front of cow in some of the paintings. Krishna was very naughty as a child and he used to love eating butter. In many paitings, one can see Krishna eating butter with his hands as a small child.
