Lord Radha Krishna

Lord Radha Krishna refers to Hindu gods who are very powerful. Lord Krishna is believed to be very enchanting and people also call him the ultimate enjoyer. Radha was a gopi with whom Lord Krishna was in love. Radha is considered as supreme Hindu goddess because it is Radha who controls Krishna with her love. Krishna may enchant the whole world but it is Radha who has the power to enchant even him. In the 12^th century a poem was written by Jaidev Goswami discussing the love affair of Krishna and Radha.

According to the poem written by Jaidev Goswami, it is believed that in order to find Radha, Lord Krishna has stopped attending rasa dance. According to another popular belief, Radha is considered to be the source or origin of all gopis. It was in the city of Mathura and Vrindavan that the love affair between Radha and Krishna started. That’s why Mathura and Vrindavan are so famous. In Mathura, Lord Krishna was born. Holi, which is a famous Hindu festival, has its roots in Mathura. Krishna used to tease and play holi in a fun filled manner with different gopis.
